Internal development / TSC Simulation
In-house Unity IVP Development.
Helped lead the replacement of our EON-based products with Unity versions after the agreement ended and we could no longer maintain the original products.

Bringing Virtual Plant development in-house
TSC established its internal 3D Studio in July 2018. From September 2018, we began replacing the earlier EON-based products with Unity versions, after the EON agreement ended and we could no longer maintain those products.
This internal development effort is separate from the earlier EON Reality partnership. The resulting products are grouped on the Interactive Virtual Plants family page.
My contribution
I helped lead the replacement programme. My main technical focus was the process simulator, OPC integration and requirements for the internal artists and developers, with technical oversight across the simulation and 3D work.
As head of the 3D Studio, I also took responsibility for workflow, product direction, requirements and roadmap. The broader role involved setting priorities, allocating resources, mentoring and recruiting while coordinating engineers and 3D developers across projects.
The newer product family
The Unity-based family spans separation, electrolysis, storage, pipeline operation and compression. The product-family page presents those models and their engineering context, while this page records their internal development history.
